Vivienne King is Chief Operating Officer at Airservices Australia, with a distinguished executive background in transport, infrastructure, and education. She has led major projects across Australia and Canada, including roles as CEO at Box Hill Institute and Vancouver’s SkyTrain. A policy and education advocate, Vivienne brings strategic expertise and global insight to the AGB, supporting NeXgen’s vision for industry-aligned education.

Professor Jane Burns PhD GAICD is a globally recognised expert in mental health, suicide prevention, and workplace wellbeing. With 20+ years of leadership across government, industry, and academia, she brings powerful strategic insight to the AGB. An award-winning social entrepreneur and influential voice, Jane is also a business coach, keynote speaker, and wellbeing consultant dedicated to creating mentally fit communities and thriving workplaces.
Stephen Thorpe
Stephen Thorpe is a proud Gunnai, Gunditjmara, Yorta Yorta, and Palawa man, born in Naarm on Wurundjeri Country. Stephen is director of Sustainative and Self-Determination Lead at Barrbunin Beek, driving culturally grounded, sustainable solutions for Aboriginal communities. He served as a Truth Receiver with the Yoorrook Justice Commission, documenting powerful stories of truth and resilience. A spoken word poet, facilitator with Dardi Munwurro, and former youth support worker at Charcoal Lane, Stephen empowers others through storytelling, leadership, and cultural strength.

Erik van Velden is a seasoned leader in social impact and service excellence. As Program Manager of Mission Australia for statewide, charity-run employment services, he oversees initiatives that connect individuals with meaningful work opportunities across diverse communities. Erik brings over a decade of executive experience in high-end fine dining, where he honed his expertise in operations, leadership and customer engagement. Erik’s cross-sector insight strengthens NeXgen’s mission to deliver inclusive, industry-aligned education that transforms lives.
