This qualification reflects the role of individuals in various information and communications technology (ICT) roles who possess specialized skills in technical ICT functions. These individuals perform moderately complex tasks in a specialized field, working independently, as part of a team, or leading projects. The skills acquired in this program can be applied across multiple industries, business functions, and departments, or in self-employment as a sole trader or contractor.

What You will Learn

In this course, students will delve into advanced Information Technology topics and case studies relevant to diverse Australian industries. The curriculum includes immersive, hands-on practical training, focusing on critical IT problem-solving skills, research, consultation, and collaboration within diverse teams, preparing students for dynamic and challenging ICT roles.

Generally, international students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency through evidence of:
an IELTS* score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old);
or having been educated for at least 5 years in an English-speaking country;
or having completed at least a Certificate III level or IV course in an Australian RTO within the last 2 years;
or completion of another English Language Test such as PTE and TOEFL (results should also be no more than 2 years old).
