Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in leadership and management roles across various industries. These individuals have the knowledge and skills to effectively plan, organize, implement, and monitor their own workload and that of others.

Course Overview

Individuals at this level use initiative and judgment to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions. They may also have accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters, and perform work that is complex, requiring strategic planning, decision-making, and an understanding of organizational dynamics.

Students will explore essential leadership and management topics through case studies and real-world applications relevant to the Australian industry. The course includes immersive, hands-on training that focuses on strategic planning, team leadership, organizational development, and effective communication. Students will also develop key problem-solving skills and gain experience in consultation and collaboration, preparing them to lead teams and projects in diverse organizational settings.

There are a total of 10 units to complete the course. This includes 5 core units and 5 elective units. Some of the units of this course are listed below:

Generally, international students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency through evidence of:
an IELTS* score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old);
or having been educated for at least 5 years in an English-speaking country;
or having completed at least a Certificate III level or IV course in an Australian RTO within the last 2 years;
or completion of another English Language Test such as PTE and TOEFL (results should also be no more than 2 years old).
