This diploma equips you with essential skills and knowledge for various roles within Information and Communications Technology (ICT), specializing in telecommunications network engineering.

Course Overview

Graduates will be prepared to take on moderately complex tasks in a specialized ICT field, whether working independently, collaborating in teams, or leading projects. The skills gained are applicable across a range of industries, business functions, and departments—or for those who aspire to operate as a sole trader or contractor.

Throughout the course, you'll explore Information Technology topics and engage with industry-relevant case studies in diverse Australian sectors. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on, immersive practical work, focusing on critical IT problem-solving, research, and effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Generally, international students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency through evidence of:
an IELTS* score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old);
or having been educated for at least 5 years in an English-speaking country;
or having completed at least a Certificate III level or IV course in an Australian RTO within the last 2 years;
or completion of another English Language Test such as PTE and TOEFL (results should also be no more than 2 years old).
