Course Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in various information and communications technology (ICT) roles who possess specialized skills in technical ICT functions. These individuals perform moderately complex tasks in a specialized field, working independently, as part of a team, or leading projects. The skills acquired in this program can be applied across multiple industries, business functions, and departments, or in self-employment as a sole trader or contractor.
Students will delve into Information Technology topics and case studies relevant to various Australian industries. The course includes immersive, hands-on practical work, focusing on critical IT problem-solving, research, consultation, and teamwork. This program prepares students to effectively collaborate within diverse teams and adapt to real-world IT challenges across different sectors.
There are a total of 20 units to complete the course. This includes 6 core units and 14 elective units. Some of the units of this course are listed below:

For international students, check that the student satisfies the entry requirements specified for English language proficiency.
Generally, international students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency through evidence of:
an IELTS* score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old);
or having been educated for at least 5 years in an English-speaking country;
or having completed at least a Certificate III level or IV course in an Australian RTO within the last 2 years;
or completion of another English Language Test such as PTE and TOEFL (results should also be no more than 2 years old).
